Beethoven’s 5th Symphony V for Victory Music Note Pin (AS-IS)
Vintage 1940s WWII V for victory pin with music notes from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. During the war, it was referred to as the “Victory Symphony” since V is the Roman numeral for 5. The opening phrase of “dit-dit-dit-dah” was also used as the letter V in Morse code. The BBC would often preface broadcasts to SOE with those four notes.

As-is condition. There is some blue tarnishing and the pin closure is stuck open. General wear and discoloration.
